Roti Churma(Namkeen)

Many times there are left over rotis or chapattis which we can’t eat as it becomes dry. Also doesn’t feel to throw it. We end up giving to maid. In such situation just keep the leftover rotis in fridge, covering with foil paper or in a box to avoid further drying. Use it to make this recipe called Roti churma (namkeen). I have mentioned namkeen because we often make sweet churma with fresh roti, ghee and Jaggery, for children. Try this Namkeen churma, can be prepared for breakfast. Short of time for preparing lunch or dinner or is it weekend Brunch…..make this Loki ka Paratha…..surely will like it. You all must have heard of “Lauki ka Halwa” “Lauki ke Kofte” or “Lauki ka Raita” try Lauki ka paratha. Paratha is a  common dish….prepared by aloo or gobi  stuffing. But this recipe is different. Tori/Turai ka Bharta

Tori/ Turai Ka Bharta is a unique Maharastrian traditional recipe.  Commonly Baigan Ka Bharta or Aloo Baigan Bharta are common dish. Tori/ Turai Ka Bharta is made specially towards Khandesh area in Maharashtra. (Available fresh during the rainy season). Tori with its mild distinct taste combined with green chilli, garlic and peanut gives a perfect taste to the dish. Tori also called as sponge gourd is a very healthy vegetable.
